I work at the intersection of public finance, finance, and macroeconomics. My research studies how capital gains taxation shapes household portfolios and wealth, and how firm dynamics and market power shape aggregate fluctuations.
I will be on the economics job market in 2026.
I am a PhD candidate at the University of Zurich (2021–present), advised by Florian Scheuer and Felix Kübler, and hold an MPhil in Economic Research from the University of Cambridge (2017–19). Before starting my PhD, I was a Research Specialist at the Center for the Economics of Human Development at the University of Chicago (2019–21). I have held research visits at the London School of Economics (2024–25), De Nederlandsche Bank (2025), and the Paris School of Economics (2026).
